Ed began working in the funeral industry in 1988 while attending California University of Pennsylvania where he earned a Bachelor of Science. After completing four years of college, he enrolled into the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and in 1992 became a PA licensed Funeral Director.
In 1993, Ed Joined Henney Family Services and gained valuable experience not only as a funeral director, but also in sales; adding value to an already well established preneed program. Over the next few years, Ed expanded the preneed program while working as an at-need funeral director and transitioned into helping to oversee all locations owned by Henney Family Services. In 2000, Ed became a partner in Henney Family Services where he is now the Chief Operation Officer/Vice President.
